Good evening everyone, we have finally made it to MNF with the Browns facing against their divisional rival Ravens! We were treated to an exciting Sunday of football and this Monday night game shouldn't let us down either. Your preview and prediction for this one is coming below!
First off, let's start with the Ravens, they are somewhere around a 2.5 or 3 point favorite with a total of about 46.5 points tonight and they are teetering on the verge of missing the playoffs right now. They are sitting at 7-5 after winning last week but have not looked great. They are scoring 26.33 ppg but their yards per game is very ehh. Rushing the ball is their strong suit, but Lamar and Co are averaging 169.25 yards passing per game which is HORRENDOUS. Listen, I know Lamar won MVP last year but he is a glorified RB who is in charge of throwing the ball. Maybe if he had receivers then I'd change this take, but until then I will stick to it! Defensively, they are stout as always, giving up only 19.25 ppg and 5.16 yards per play. They have missed some key guys and that has shown in games, most recently against the Titans.
The Browns are actually coming into this one as the HOT team right now and are looking to try and push for a division title (imagine ever thinking this over the last 20 years lol). They are scoring 25.5 ppg and Baker may have found his form as he tore up the Titans D last week for 4 TDs. The really run the football well to a tune of 157.75 yards per game and that should continue in this one tonight. Defensively, they have a poor secondary and give up a shit load of points but that shouldn't matter against Lamar and that inefficient passing game of the Ravens. They do only give up 103.92 rushing yards per game and their front 4 should cause some issues for the Ravens if the Browns get a lead first.
Trends and my prediction here: the Ravens are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. the Browns and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 on the road in Cleveland. The over has hit in 4 of their last 5 games as a favorite and the under has his in 4 of their last 5 after an ATS win. The Browns are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games and are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games though. The under has hit in 6 of their last 8 vs. the Ravens and over in 4 of their last 5 December games. The Browns are going to run all over Baltimore tonight. They win, 27-23.
